I don't know much about myself...

Blackberrys and apples

Life would be so much better with the basics.

A phone that only calls and texts, and has the game snake. Any from this lovely range of amazing mobiles!

A notepad to write down my thoughts instead of tweeting them.

A manual camera so that every shot is important and so that real moments are captured.

That’s all I really want :(

‘Twas the week of three birthdays and I wanted to make it special….but I couldn’t. So I wanted to make something anyway, and it started as a jewellery roll for the gyal dem and personalised cushions for the boys but then like I had no time and no fabric….and so they became keyrings…but they were too big so now theyre just reminders of the first letters of my friends names!

But I found a haaaaaaaaaa-mazin’ fabric shop. It’s expensive but its nice to just look around in. It isn’t like normal clothes stuff, its more like making stuff stuff…yay!

I just like messing around with the effects so I’m sorry if they hurt your eyes but I don’t really care cause I like them.

This play was slow to being with because they just didn’t finish their sentences and the teacher was constantly on the phone barely finishing words. I just wanted to hit him.

But then in act two it gets kerrrr-azaaaay!

It’s kind of like….the Educating Rita situation…..totally backfiring….which made it very entertaining! Although the end was a bit =/, I guess it makes sense in its own twisted way.

I shall say more on the matter when I am not so tired!

Night!

Educating Rita

This play is so good…so far. I think everyone has seen the film (apart from moi). Rita really reminds me of myself. Not the confidence and the outspokenness, but just wanting to be educated…and wanting to be smart…

And it’s so funny, it literally makes me lol.

It’s hard finding your place and making up your own mind about what is important and what isn’t. It depends on what fulfils your life.

Being an educated person didn’t fulfil Rita, she still went back to do some hairdressing.

I have to read Oleanna and so far it talks about how education is just a tradition of memorising information and spouting it back out- how does it make us better people?

C’est magnifique

Few nice snaps from Paris

So Sonia really wanted crepes and since we hadn’t eaten breakfast we decided to have crepes for breakfast. But we couldn’t find any so I settled for a belgian waffle and the other two ate Pizzas.

Jannat was originally in this picture but she didnt like it so i had to delete it. But then I found this thing where I can erase her! LOL love you jannat really but i also like that I have a picture with the notre dame!

Inside the Notre Dame. I really like the chandeliaaaaars.

Such a nice florist, so beauuuutifuls

I don’t usually eat at Mcdonalds but I was hungry and I just wanted some chips, ya know what I mean? It was really nice actually, not the food just the place. Or maybe I was delirious from hunger?

I don’t know why I was so obsessed with this cup. I thought it was so cool! Now I’m confused…really, like what is wrong with me?

I love this novel and I love this notebook. Eeeeeeek its so cool. I should write a really good novella in it….

“Sweetheart,
Please, please don’t be so depressed — We’ll be married soon, and then these lonesome nights will be over forever — and until we are, I am loving, loving every tiny minute of the day and night — Maybe you won’t understand this, but sometimes when I miss you most, it’s hardest to write — and you always know when I make myself — Just the ache of it all — and I can’t tell you. If we were together, you’d feel how strong it is — you’re so sweet when you’re melancholy. I love your sad tenderness — when I’ve hurt you — That’s one of the reasons I could never be sorry for our quarrels — and they bothered you so — Those dear, dear little fusses, when I always tried so hard to make you kiss and forget —
Scott — there’s nothing in all the world I want but you — and your precious love — All the material things are nothing. I’d just hate to live a sordid, colorless existence — because you’d soon love me less — and less — and I’d do anything — anything — to keep your heart for my own — I don’t want to live — I want to love first, and live incidentally — Why don’t you feel that I’m waiting — I’ll come to you, Lover, when you’re ready — Don’t don’t ever think of the things you can’t give me — You’ve trusted me with the dearest heart of all — and it’s so damn much more than anybody else in all the world has ever had —
How can you think deliberately of life without me — If you should die — O Darling — darling Scott — It’d be like going blind. I know I would, too, — I’d have no purpose in life — just a pretty — decoration. Don’t you think I was made for you? I feel like you had me ordered — and I was delivered to you — to be worn — I want you to wear me, like a watch — charm or a button hole boquet — to the world. And then, when we’re alone, I want to help — to know that you can’t do anything without me.”

Oh Snap

I need one of these cameras. It could be their old fashioned style, the fact that they’re silver and black, nostalgia for old film negatives and real physical photos or just that they are just really really cool.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarghnyway. I will buy one of these and take really interesting photos that will be very artsy fartsy. And when people come round I’m going to make them look at my photos.

It’d be a challenge to learn to do the shutter speed and focus properly. Imagine the pictures all came out really good! That would be so cool.

The guy who sells these cameras was so helpful. He knows so much (obviously) and he has all these different kinds of cameras, and they are all so amazing because they’re all SO old. These popping put lenses are so cool! I love the flash bulb thing too but he says they need bulbs that only flash once. I’d really like to use them because they burn for longer than electronic flashes.

I also like this old film camera because of the colour. Not really sure how it works but I’m sure the guy told us. It’s a home movie camera? And obviously its a nice looking little thing isn’t it?

I also love the colours on physical photos when they’ve been developed. Wish I had a dark room. I did photography in college so I have basic information about how to use manual cameras.

My sister took these really nice pictures when we went to the antiques market. Can’t wait to get mine!

Vintage Blitz

I love vintage clothes. You can always find something unique and interesting, and a lot of the fun in vintage stores is the hunt. Fashion today is alright, it’s not bad, it’s quite nice actually. But there is a much bigger chance of finding something much better in a Vintage store. Fashion from the 40’s, the 60’s even the 90’s is faaaaaaaaaarbulous. I love high waisted jeans (although I wouldn’t buy those from a vintage shop. I love collared shirts A LOT. I love satchels, as does everyone. I love blazers- the old man corduroy/ suede collar type. I love big woolly grand-dad jumpers. I don’t know why I do, probably because I’ve probably tried most styles of clothes and this one fits me and makes me comfortable. I think I’m a bit of an old soul? hah

But I especially like….or LOVE glamorous and ridiculous dresses and embroidered jumpers. I’ve never bought either of the two because I don’t have the guts to wear that kind of thing…but I’d love to buy it all just to have it in my closet. I’d just wear it at home and pretend I’m an old movie star.

Anyway, I like these pictures so I’m going to take more pictures of more vintage clothes (if the shops let me ofcourse).

You know you love me! (Don’t deny it)

Hello Giggles Cute Biscuits

I love cute biscuits and I love baking. I’m not that good at baking but lately my biscuits and cakes have been edible and that’s pretty amazing. However my icing skills are terrible.

See. They look like biscuits and I cut them in cute heart and butterfly shapes. Exciting!

And then when they were done they actually tasted good!

But I decided to ruin it with the icing *sigh*. The colours are still pretty and you can see that they had some potential….’:) (Please ignore the red coloured biscuit with the white outline- that one is just hideous)

I wanna make some more biscuits.

I made some for my friend Forida. They were Dairy free and sugar loaded (White sugar, brown sugar and molasses) and apparently tasted like Indian sweets….=|
