Educating Rita
This play is so good…so far. I think everyone has seen the film (apart from moi). Rita really reminds me of myself. Not the confidence and the outspokenness, but just wanting to be educated…and wanting to be smart…
And it’s so funny, it literally makes me lol.

It’s hard finding your place and making up your own mind about what is important and what isn’t. It depends on what fulfils your life.
Being an educated person didn’t fulfil Rita, she still went back to do some hairdressing.
I have to read Oleanna and so far it talks about how education is just a tradition of memorising information and spouting it back out- how does it make us better people?
